The Incubation mechanic is a unique digital experience designed for RTFKT holders leading up to the Animus reveal. It allows holders to increase their probability of getting a rare Animus. The Animus characters are categorized into Three Generations based on rarity.
During Incubation, participants will have the opportunity to link their Clone X and/or their Pods to their Animus Egg to score points. Different factors like Clone X DNA, Clone X Type and Pod Class will affect scoring. At the end of Incubation, participants will be ranked, according to their final scores. The higher your score, the higher the probability of revealing a rarer Animus.
To participate in Incubation, a Clone and/or Pod needs to be linked to one Egg. Depending on the combination, your Egg will gain an Incubation score. The higher the score, the higher the probability of obtaining a rarer Animus will be.
Note, the Incubation mechanic is an off-chain event, thus a snapshot of Clone X & Pod combinations will be taken at the end of the Incubation event to determine each Egg’s final score.
With a total supply capped at 20,000 characters, and no public sale of digital Eggs, the aim of Incubation is to prioritize our core community.
